SERVING SINGLE MEN, THE PAMELA ATKINSON RESOURCE CENTER IS OPEN YEAR-ROUND

In 2019 The Road Home was selected to operate the Pamela Atkinson Resource Center, a 300-bed emergency shelter for men in South Salt Lake. Guests are connected to crisis services such as beds, three daily meals, showers, blankets, clothing, laundry, and more. Importantly, our case managers help guests create a housing plan, connecting them to resources to help them find a lasting home. We partner with many community organizations to provide resources including job development, public benefits, substance use and mental health assessment and treatment, housing assistance, and more.

RESOURCES

While only active clients of our shelter and housing programs are eligible to receive services, we encourage any family or individual in need of emergency assistance to reach out. Specific services are only available to current clients but we are always happy to connect people to the appropriate resource.

The Road Home’s Case Management team works tirelessly to help each individual who turns to us for assistance in identifying and overcoming the barriers causing them to become homeless. Case managers are also vital in connecting clients to community resources that help the individual leave shelter and live successfully in our community.
