Housing Stories

RANDALL

RANDALL

Randall has been experiencing homelessness for over a year.

Randall has been experiencing homelessness for over a year. He has 5 children and has been working hard to regain custody. Originally, he was not open to shared housing because he would not be able to have his children in his home. All while working 12+ hours per day, Randall followed up on all of the listings his Case Manager would give him and went on tours of many different apartments. Randall decided to move into shared housing when he was informed he would be regaining custody of his children and could have them over. Randall was so motivated to resolve his homelessness that he paid his own deposit (as opposed to receiving assistance). He is so excited about his new start!
