In 2010, we changed the operation of our Community Winter Shelter in Midvale to serve only families to better reflect the services and location needs of our guests. After three years of renovations, The Midvale Family Resource Center started to serve families year round in 2015
In 2014, the Wendell Apartments opened to serve chronically homelessness individuals. The Road Home provides the residents of Wendell Apartments and our other permanent supportive housing programs with supportive resources, like case management, connections with community programs, and more while they are in permanent housing.
In 2019, the Men’s Resource Center (later to be named the Pamela Atkinson Resource Center) opened in South Salt Lake. This incredible center serves 300 men daily and provides them with wrap-around services to aid them on their journey home.
