The gift of In-kind donation

Help us provide for the basic needs of individuals and families staying in shelter by donating bedding, clothing, and other new and gently used items.

Urgent Needs:

  • Underwear (Men’s)
  • Face masks (store-bought and homemade)
  • Diapers (especially sizes 5 and 6)
  • Men’s Pants and Shorts (especially sizes 26-38)
  • Ethnic hair & skin products
  • Towels
  • Size 3x+ clothing

The Road Home is happy to accept donations of gently used items. We ask that all donations be clean and in good condition when they are donated.

You are also able to purchase our needed items through our Amazon Wishlist.

Homelessness affects people year round, not just during the holidays. We greatly appreciate your donations throughout the year! To ensure that your generous in-kind donations have the greatest impact, we may share with our many partner agencies.

Restricted Items

We care about the people we serve and want to reflect that in items we gratefully collect from the community. Some donations like large furniture, used mattresses, and large appliances are better donated to other organizations, as we do not have storage capacity.
Federal and health regulations disallow The Road Home from accepting batteries, drugs, weapons, tires, chemicals, mattresses, refrigerators, freezers, broken TVs, washers, or dryers.
We do not have the staff or means to pick up donations. To make alternate arrangements for large donations, please contact [email protected] or 385-351-2389.
