We partner with landlords and property managers and offer ongoing support to help people succeed in their homes. Depending on each household’s needs, we provide different types of rental assistance and services:
Rapid Rehousing helps people who are currently homeless move quickly into housing. We offer short-term rental assistance and support with basic household needs. Services may include:
- Help finding a home
- Case management
- Connections to childcare, employment, food programs, and public benefits
We work closely with households to help them move in—and stay housed.
Supportive Housing is a long-term program for individuals who have experienced chronic homelessness and need ongoing support. In addition to housing, we offer services that improve health, stability, and quality of life. This approach is proven to reduce costs and improve outcomes for both individuals and communities.

SUPPORTIVE HOUSING COMMUNITIES
The Supportive Housing program provides affordable housing with onsite services to families and individuals who formerly experienced chronic homelessness to help them remain stable in their homes. Chronic homelessness is a term for people who have experienced homelessness for a year or more, or repeatedly, while struggling with a disabling condition. Available resources include local community centers, medical care, aging adult services, access to childcare, and more.
We provide Supportive Housing in apartment complexes across Salt Lake County, including Magnolia (65 units), Palmer Court (201 units) and Wendell Apartments (32 units).
PALMER COURT
Originally a Holiday Inn hotel, Palmer Court Apartments was renovated and transformed into 201 units of permanent supportive housing in 2009. Families and individuals with a former history of chronic homelessness have been able to call Palmer Court home for over 16 years. Onsite supportive services—including Early HeadStart and HeadStart, health and behavioral health supports, employment supports, and volunteer supported activities—ensure that tenants have the resources they need to remain stable in their homes.
WENDELL APARTMENTS
This apartment complex is 32 units of permanent supportive housing and has been operated by The Road Home since 2014. Onsite supportive services are provided for tenants with a history of chronic homelessness.
MAGNOLIA APARTMENTS
The Magnolia Apartments opened its doors to 65 people who had experienced long-term homelessness in August 2021. Tenants are provided a suite of comprehensive on-site services that include intensive case management supports, 24-7 property management staff, and security.
PROPERTY MANAGEMENT PARTNERSHIPS
