In-Kind Donations

Help us provide for the basic needs of individuals and families staying at our shelter by donating bedding, clothing, and other needed items.

  • Baby Bottles & Formula

The Road Home is happy to accept donations of gently used items. We ask that all donations be clean and in good condition when they are donated.

Autumn & Winter Needs List

Throughout the colder months of the year, our greatest needs are warm clothing, blankets & shoes.

Palmer Court Apartment Kits

Palmer Court is a permanent supportive housing development in Salt Lake. Help a formerly chronically homeless family or individual get settled into their new home with a Palmer Court Apartment Kit!

Restricted Items

We appreciate your support! Unfortunately, The Road Home cannot accept donations of large furniture items, used mattresses, or large appliances. We also cannot accept any items that are broken, missing pieces or in poor condition. Federal & Health regulations prevent The Road Home from accepting the following: batteries, drugs, mattresses, refrigerators, freezers, television sets with broken or damaged components, washers, or dryers. We also cannot accept cleaners, chemicals, tires or weapons.

As a small, local agency, we do not have the staff or means to pick up donations. To make alternate arrangements for large donations, please contact our Development Office.
